Aww love this! So fun to hear you read it out loud... and now I'm looking out towards the garden (where the clouds just turned bright pink - very a propos for your substack!) thinking 'just a bit more patience til I can eat those winter salads I planted' 😄. So darn appealing indeed!

Aww thank you!! Winter salads??? I didn't know that was a thing!! I'm jealous! I hope they're good when they're finally ready! 😊

Yes! Planted them around September-October and they’re growing slowly alongside the cabbages. That’s the advantage of being somewhere that doesn’t get that cold - not sure that would work by you (unless you set up a greenhouse) 😆☃️

Ooooh I see!! Lol yeah I think they'd freeze to death. We got like 8 inches of snow this week and it's currently -2 degrees F with a windchill of like -15. They'd be suffering 😅

🥶 oh wow!!! That reminds me of my years in Montreal. I bet all the snow looks magical but the thought of going outside in that climate… *shudder* 😅 I think my salads, cat and I will stick with rarely below freezing temps! But do feel free to send snowy photos my way.

This is how I feel about snacks on my kitchen counter and by my work desk: "If they didn’t want to be eaten, They shouldn’t have been so darn appealing". Sounds like a THEM problem lol

Lol the snacks gotta learn! Or maybe it means they're succeeding. Depending on how you look at it 😂
